Norfolk is a cosmopolitan city in Virginia with a legacy of military history. Visitors to Nauticus can interact with more than 150 sea-related exhibits, then walk over to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, where the imposing U.S.S. Wisconsin battleship hosts visitors on its decks. Art and architecture attractions are also plentiful, including the Chrysler Museum of Art's world-class collection, the d'ART Center (with studios and a marketplace) and Colonial homes that now are museums.
